The duo underwent the rehabilitation and physical segment alongside the technical exercises, preparing for the upcoming period.
Shikabala’s Return to Collective Training
Zamalek’s captain, Mahmoud Abdel Razek Shikabala, joined collective training after completing his rehabilitation program due to fatigue.
He has been optimally prepared for participation in group sessions.
Shikabala underwent the rehabilitation and physical segment alongside the tactical segment, participating naturally in preparation for the upcoming period.
Methlouthi Continues Rehabilitation
Hamza Methlouthi, the right-back for the team, underwent a special rehabilitation session on the sidelines of the training, following the rehabilitation program prescribed by the team’s medical staff under the leadership of Dr. Mohamed Osama.
This was due to the player’s complaint of strain in the calf muscle.
The Tunisian player is entering the final stage of the rehabilitation program and is expected to join regular training once his complete readiness is confirmed.
Strong Technical Division
Zamalek players engaged in a robust technical division at the end of the training, applying several tactical ideas that had been practiced.
The coaching staff consistently provided players with tactical instructions during the division, along with correcting mistakes.
The Zamalek team is currently preparing to participate in the friendly tournament organized by the Emirates Club in Abu Dhabi from January 18 to 24, featuring Saudi’s Al-Ittifaq and Qatar’s Umm Salal.
Additionally, Zamalek will compete in the Dubai Challenge Cup from January 26 to 28, alongside Morocco’s Raja, Saudi’s Al-Ahli, and China’s Wuhan Three Towns.
