Zamalek’s coach grants opportunities to substitutes in Cascada friendly

Zamalek's coach grants opportunities to substitutes in Cascada friendly

Zamalek’s interim coach, Mo’tamed Jamal, is providing a chance for substitute players and those returning from injuries in the friendly match scheduled for today, Monday, against the Cascada team.

The Zamalek coach aims to prepare the players both physically and technically during today’s friendly and the upcoming one on Wednesday against the Journalists’ team.

This comes ahead of the White Knights’ journey to the United Arab Emirates to engage in two more friendly tournaments from January 18th to January 28th.

Currently, Mo’tamed Jamal leads Zamalek as an interim coach until the club’s board secures a foreign head coach to complete the local season and the African Confederation Cup.

Zamalek has already secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the African Confederation Cup after reaching 10 points in their Group, topping the standings.

The friendly matches serve as crucial preparation for Zamalek, not only in the local competitions but also as they eye success in the African Confederation Cup.

The emphasis is on ensuring that all players, including substitutes and those returning from injuries, are in optimal condition, contributing to the team’s overall performance.

Zamalek’s strategic approach under Mo’tamed Jamal is to maintain a competitive edge, fostering depth within the squad, and gearing up for the challenges that lie ahead in both domestic and continental competitions.

As the club’s management actively seeks a seasoned foreign coach to lead the team, the interim coaching staff is diligently working to enhance the team’s capabilities and maintain its winning momentum.

The friendly encounters against Cascada and the Journalists’ team offer a valuable opportunity for Zamalek to fine-tune its strategies, assess player fitness, and ensure a cohesive team performance.

The interim coaching staff, led by Mo’tamed Jamal, remains committed to elevating Zamalek’s football standards, setting the stage for a triumphant campaign in the upcoming competitions.
