Zamalek has pulled off a major transfer coup by securing Palestinian striker Uday Al-Dabbagh on a four-year contract, edging out fierce competition from Pyramids FC.
A trusted source at the club confirmed that Al-Dabbagh, who played last season with Belgian side Charleroi, landed in Cairo in recent hours to finalize the move. The 25-year-old forward featured in 31 matches for Charleroi across all competitions, where he scored five goals and provided one assist.
Zamalek fans had been buzzing with transfer speculations, and the news of Al-Dabbagh’s arrival adds firepower to a squad looking to bounce back strong next season. The player completed his official photoshoot this morning, sealing what insiders described as a smooth negotiation process.
“Uday Al-Dabbagh has completed all the procedures for his transfer to Zamalek. He was in Cairo this morning and finished the photoshoot to announce his joining the White Castle,” the source told Kooora.
“Zamalek agreed with Uday Al-Dabbagh to sign for four seasons, and the player welcomed the signing after agreeing on all the terms of the contract,” the source added.
