Mohamed Tarek, a member of the Zamalek Football Club’s board of directors, spoke about the reception received by the team’s first football squad in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ahead of the Egypt Cup final.
Saudi Arabia will host the Egypt Cup final between Al Ahly and Zamalek at 8:00 PM next Friday at the “First Park” stadium.
The Zamalek member stated in remarks to ON Time Sports channel: “The reception we found in Saudi Arabia befits Zamalek Club and the Egyptian state.
It was a dignified reception at the highest level.”
He added: “Our fans have completed the allocated number of tickets, and God willing, you will see.”
He continued: “You will see a wonderful and respectable image in the final between the two biggest clubs in the Middle East.”
On her part, Naira El Ahmar, a member of the Zamalek Football Club’s board of directors, also said: “I hope to win the Egypt Cup on Friday, but I also hope that we can present a good image for Egyptian football, which is very important.
We want a match free of bias, and everyone in both clubs enjoys high ethics.”
