Zamalek v AS Port: Tazkarti opens ticket sales for CAF Champions League second leg

Tazkarti has opened bookings for tickets to Zamalek’s CAF Champions League meeting with Djibouti’s AS Port, with the Egyptian side holding a 2-1 advantage from the first leg.

The second-leg match in the first preliminary round is scheduled to take place at 20:00 on Saturday, 12 September. The fixture will be played at Zamalek’s stadium.

Zamalek reached an agreement with AS Port for both legs of the tie to be staged in Cairo. Although the first match was officially regarded as AS Port’s home fixture, it was played in the Egyptian capital. The return game will therefore also be held at Zamalek’s stadium.

Ticket bookings are being handled through Tazkarti. Supporters can select from four ticket categories, with prices set as follows:

– Third class, right and left: EGP 75 – Second class: EGP 100 – First class: EGP 250 – VIP: EGP 500

Fans can use the Tazkarti booking service to reserve their places for the match.

Zamalek go into the return fixture with a one-goal lead after winning the opening game 2-1. The result gives the Egyptian club the advantage before the second meeting, while AS Port will need to overturn the deficit to progress from the first preliminary round.

The tie is part of the opening stage of the CAF Champions League, with the two sides having arranged for both fixtures to be played in Cairo. The second leg will now provide Zamalek with the opportunity to complete the job in front of their own supporters.

The launch of ticket sales confirms the arrangements for the match, including its 20:00 kick-off and the range of admission prices available to supporters. The cheapest tickets are for the third-class sections, while VIP tickets are priced at EGP 500.

Zamalek’s 2-1 victory in the first leg remains the decisive result before the return fixture. AS Port must score at least twice to move ahead on the night, while a draw would be enough for Zamalek to protect their aggregate advantage.
