Zamalek v Al-Minaa: kick-off time, TV coverage and live-stream details confirmed

Zamalek will begin their 2026-27 CAF Champions League campaign against Djibouti’s Al-Minaa at Cairo International Stadium on Friday, 4 September 2026.

The match will form part of the competition’s knockout rounds, with both legs of the tie being staged at the same venue because Al-Minaa’s home ground does not meet African football requirements.

The opening fixture is scheduled to start at 20:00 local time in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, with the match beginning at 21:00 in the United Arab Emirates.

ON SPORT holds the exclusive rights to broadcast the Al-Minaa v Zamalek tie in the 2026-27 CAF Champions League. The game will be available on the ON SPORT channel with Arabic commentary.

However, ON SPORT has not yet announced which commentator will be assigned to the match.

How to watch online

Supporters who prefer to follow the game online will be able to do so through the ON SPORT application. The match will also be available via the Kora Plus website.

The online viewing options provide an alternative for fans unable to watch through the television broadcast, while the ON SPORT channel remains the exclusive television outlet listed for the fixture.

The match is set to mark the start of Zamalek’s latest African campaign. Their home stadium has therefore been confirmed as the venue for both meetings in the tie, despite Al-Minaa being the Djiboutian side involved.

The decision to use Cairo International Stadium for both matches was taken because Al-Minaa’s stadium does not satisfy the requirements set for African competitions. As a result, neither fixture will be played at the Djibouti club’s own ground.

Fans looking for a secure and fast internet connection are also offered NordVPN, with an invitation to subscribe now.

The key broadcast information is therefore centred on ON SPORT, which will provide exclusive coverage on television and through its digital application. Kora Plus will carry the online stream in addition to the ON SPORT app.

The fixture will take place on the evening of Friday, 4 September 2026. Kick-off is listed for 8pm in both Egypt and Saudi Arabia, while viewers in the UAE will see the match begin at 9pm.

With the commentary team still to be selected, further details about the Arabic-language broadcast have yet to be confirmed by ON SPORT.
