Zamalek’s first football team secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Cascada in a friendly match held at the club’s stadium this Monday afternoon.
The goals for Zamalek were netted by Mahmoud Alaa, Samson Akinola, Ibrahima Ndaye, and Ammar Yasser.
The team, led by coach Abdelrahman Nefad, featured a lineup including Ahmed Zaki, Mahmoud Hamdi “El Wensh,” Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Tarek, Mohamed Hossam “Biso,” Amr El Sisi, Mostafa Shokry, Sayed Abdullah “Neymar,” Mostafa Shelby, and Ammar Yasser.
Mahmoud Alaa, the Zamalek defender, broke the deadlock in the 29th minute with a powerful header from a free-kick delivered by Mostafa Shelby.
Alaa directed the ball into the top right corner of Cascada’s net, giving Zamalek a well-deserved lead.
In the second half, the coaching staff introduced Muaaz Alaa, Mohamed Abdelghani, Hatem Sakr, Nabil Emad “Donja,” Mostafa El Zanary, Omar Gaber, Youssef Obama, Ibrahima Ndaye, and Samson Akinola, substituting some key players.
Samson Akinola extended Zamalek’s lead with a goal in the 47th minute, unleashing a shot from inside the penalty area that nestled into Cascada’s left corner.
In the 60th minute, Hossam Abdel Mageed replaced El Wensh. The Senegalese forward Ibrahima Ndaye added a third goal in the 70th minute with a ground shot from a free-kick.
Ammar Yasser sealed the victory with a powerful strike from inside the penalty area in the 80th minute, making it 4-0 for Zamalek.
Yasser returned to the game in the second half, replacing Mostafa Shokry.
The match concluded with Zamalek securing a convincing 4-0 win over Cascada.
