Ahmed Sultan, the director of contracts at the Egyptian Telecommunications Club, discussed the potential transfer of the team’s duo, Marwan Ahmed and Faisal Gharib, to Zamalek in the upcoming January window.
Speaking on the program “Long and High,” hosted by the prominent sports presenter Hani Hathout on Youth and Sports Radio, Sultan stated, “The team boasts several players qualified to join the top Premier League clubs.”
He added, “Some intermediaries have already confirmed that the duo is on Zamalek’s radar, but there has been no official communication between the clubs so far.”
Marwan, an excellent towering defender, young in age, mirrors the playing style of Ahmed Hegazi.
On the other hand, Gharib plays in the defensive midfield position and resembles Tarek Hamed in his performance.
Both players are committed technically and behaviorally on and off the field.
Sultan concluded, “Once official offers arrive, they will be discussed with the board, considering the club’s and the players’ interests.
We do not stand in the way of a player’s interest, as was the case with Hesham Salah when he requested a move to Al-Ittihad Alexandria.”
