Officials at Zamalek Club, under the leadership of Hussein Labib, have decided to file an official complaint against Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim “Kahraba,” the first-team forward for Al Ahly Club’s football team, in order to obtain the due fine from the player.
The International Court of Arbitration for Sport had decided to fine Kahraba two million dollars, along with accruing interest, since his departure from Zamalek Club.
According to “Al-Masry Al-Youm,” Zamalek Club’s management has decided to file an official complaint against Kahraba to FIFA, in order to obtain the full fine from the player without installment, and to preserve its legal rights, despite the expected negotiations.
Officials from Al Ahly are expected to hold discussions with Zamalek Club’s management to resolve Kahraba’s fine crisis officially during their visit to the White Castle tomorrow, Monday.
El-Khatib Visits Zamalek Club
Tomorrow, Monday, the Al Ahly Club’s Board of Directors, chaired by Mahmoud El-Khatib, will visit Zamalek Club, in response to an invitation received earlier from Zamalek’s Board of Directors, led by Hussein Labib.
This friendly visit reinforces the strong ties between the two great clubs and their historic fan bases throughout the ages and generations.
The Al Ahly Board was supposed to accept the aforementioned invitation earlier, but the circumstances affecting the Al Ahly family, including the health condition of Amr Farouk El-Ameri, the club’s vice president, who passed away three weeks ago, led to the postponement.
It is worth mentioning that the distinguished relations between the giants of Egyptian sports are always present, and both hold great respect for each other, despite the honorable competition between the two clubs in various sports.
Moreover, the recent period has witnessed many positive stances reflecting the bonds of love and goodwill between the major sports entities that contribute to supporting and endorsing all national teams.
