Zamalek is stepping up its preparations with two more friendly matches lined up after their ongoing training camp in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital.
The team is working under new head coach Yannick Ferreira, who is aiming to build momentum and test squad depth before the new season kicks off.
The club’s football director, Abdel Nasser Mohamed, confirmed that Zamalek will take on Ghazl El Mahalla on Thursday at 6:00 PM. The match will be played at the same stadium where the team has been training throughout their camp.
“The second friendly match will be on Friday, August 1st, against Brokers at 6:00 PM, at the same stadium,” Abdel Nasser added.
Before these two fixtures, Zamalek will first face Wadi Degla in a warm-up clash tomorrow, a final test before the camp wraps up.
These matches offer Ferreira a key opportunity to assess player fitness, try new tactics, and shape his core team. For fans, it’s also a glimpse into how the Whites may shape up under the Belgian’s leadership.
