Zamalek set to resolve three key issues before Egyptian Premier League start

Zamalek are expected to settle three important matters before the start of the new Egyptian Premier League season, including the appointment of a sporting director following the departure of John Edward.

Media figure Gamal El-Ghandour revealed details of the issues facing the club, with discussions already taking place over the vacant sporting director position and technical decisions involving the first-team squad.

Sporting director decision nearing

Abdel Nasser Mohamed, Zamalek’s football director, has held several meetings with Hossam El-Zenaty, who is being considered for the sporting director role, according to El-Ghandour.
