Thursday evening, the board of Zamalek Sporting Club, under the leadership of Captain Hussein Labib, addressed various club-related issues and implemented a series of decisive measures.
Ahmed Salem, the club’s official spokesperson, conveyed the following decisions made by the Zamalek board:
1. Appointment of Amr Khefagy as Head of the Media System:
The board officially appointed Amr Khefagy as the head of the media system at Zamalek Sporting Club.
This move is accompanied by the adoption of an administrative and technical structure for the media system.
2. Resolution of Suspension Cases:
Out of the 14 cases that led to registration suspensions, 12 have been resolved for eight parties, with negotiations ongoing for the remaining two to conclusively resolve the matter.
3. Acceptance of Donation for Medical Center:
Approval was granted for the acceptance of a donation from Al-Nas Hospital to establish and operate a medical center at the club, catering to the healthcare needs of the esteemed club members and staff.
4. Contracts with Emerging Talents:
Zamalek Sporting Club has inked contracts with a group of outstanding young talents across various team sports within the club.
5. Settlement of Outstanding Dues:
The board greenlit the disbursement of pending payments owed to coaching staff, administrative personnel, and players across all sports disciplines.
6. Membership Facilities and Waivers:
The board agreed to facilitate payment arrangements for active members within governing bodies and institutions, extending the deadline for settlement until the end of February 2024.
7. Exemption from Fines:
Members were exempted from fines related to delays in merger and separation procedures during the period from 2021 to 2023, coinciding with the suspension of these processes.
In a statement, the Zamalek board urged fans not to be swayed by football-related rumors, particularly concerning new player signings or other technical matters.
The club is diligently working to comprehensively enhance its football system, aligning with the expectations of its devoted fanbase.
