Zamalek is embarking on a new football strategy after the club’s board, led by Hussein Labib, approved a comprehensive restructuring plan proposed by the Planning and Development Committee.
During a high-stakes meeting that stretched into the early hours of Thursday, the board reviewed key issues shaping the club’s next phase. A major focus was the transformation of the football sector, with Ahmed Hossam “Mido” outlining a detailed blueprint for its development.
Mido emphasized the importance of investing in the junior teams, highlighting their historical role in producing first-team talents for the White Castle.
It was also agreed that Zamalek would enhance training programs for youth coaches, ensuring they receive top-tier education and exposure to high-level courses. The club will further support its teams by improving facilities and addressing logistical needs.
The board reaffirmed its backing for the committee, which includes Mido, Hazem Imam, and Amr Al-Janini, and committed to implementing the plan while regularly evaluating its progress.
