Zamalek are preparing to send the next instalments owed to former players Ferjani Sassi and Samson Akinyoola in the coming days.
The Egyptian club will make the payments after receiving part of the fee from the sale of Brazilian player Juan Bezerra to UAE side Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, according to information obtained by FilGoal.com.
Zamalek have already sent instalments owed to Palestinian Omar Faraj and Senegalese player Ibrahima Ndiaye.
Sassi previously agreed to a settlement proposed by Zamalek to resolve the case he had taken to world governing body FIFA.
The Tunisia international had initially claimed $450,000. With 5% interest added for each year, the total amount rose to approximately $505,000.
Zamalek have also previously paid part of Samson’s outstanding money through the club’s “Zamalekawy” application.
The 26-year-old spent two seasons with Zamalek before leaving the club in 2024. He now plays for Kuwaiti side Kazma.
Samson made 37 appearances for Zamalek, scoring five goals and providing one assist.
