Egyptian giants Zamalek are on the verge of securing the services of four new players in the ongoing January transfer window.
The reigning CAF Confederation Cup holders are in the market searching for solid and quality players to augment their squad for the season.
Zamalek have reportedly come close to sealing the acquisition of four players in a bid to strengthen the team as they seeks to make impact.
Per coach Christian Gross’ request, two local players and two foreign players will be drafted into the Zamalek team.
Among the players is midfielder Mahmoud Jihad, who has officially been unveiled as a player of Zamalek.
The enterprising midfielder joins Zamalek on a permanent deal from fellow Egyptian club, Pharco FC.
Mahmoud Jihad made nine appearances in the Egyptian Premier League, scoring two goals across the period for the club.
The midfielder joined Pharco from El-Nogoom Club in the summer of 2021 and established himself as a key member of the team.
