Zamalek register Seif Jaafar and Ahmed El-Jafali for CAF Champions League

Zamalek have added Seif Jaafar and Ahmed El-Jafali to their CAF Champions League squad, taking the number of registered players to 36.

The Egyptian club still have four places available on their African squad list, which they intend to fill in January.

Those positions could be used for new signings if Zamalek resolve their registration crisis and are able to complete further transfers. If the issue remains unresolved, the club will instead register four players from their youth and academy teams.

Zamalek will face Rwanda Army in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

The club returned to the competition this season after winning the Egyptian Premier League last season.
