Egyptian club Zamalek SC has made significant progress in addressing its financial obligations, settling part of the outstanding payments owed to its indoor sports players and club employees in a move aimed at easing internal pressures.

The club’s handball, volleyball, and basketball teams received a month’s worth of back pay, providing a boost ahead of upcoming competitions.

Meanwhile, the women’s volleyball squad received a morale lift as two months’ dues were cleared in a single payment, signaling the administration’s commitment to stability across all teams.

On the administrative side, Zamalek also released the second installment of employee salaries.

The third and final payment of 10% for staff earning above 15,000 Egyptian pounds is scheduled to be completed after Eid al-Fitr, as part of a phased approach to settling all outstanding dues.
