Zamalek midfielder Mohamed El-Sayed has affirmed his outfit will play to secure a place in the CAF Confederation Cup final.

The Egyptian giants head into the return clash with a slender advantage after securing a crucial 1-0 away victory over the Algerian powerhouse.

Brazilian forward Juan Bezerra emerged as the hero after firing home the only goal of the match to snatch victory for the visitors.

Speaking ahead of the match, the midfielder stressed his outfit will play to secure qualification to the final of the Confederation Cup.

“The return match will not be easy, and we will play to achieve victory and secure qualification for the final match.”

“The role of Zamalek’s fans is very important to the team, and we get through these matches with the support of the fans. We hope to make them happy, qualify for the final, and compete for the title.”

The return clash between Zamalek and CR Belouizdad has been scheduled to take place at the Cairo International Stadium on Friday.
