Zamalek SC is pulling out all the stops to keep its prized asset, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, amidst growing transfer speculation.
The Egyptian winger, whose performances have been crucial to the team’s success, has been at the heart of tense contract negotiations.
The Cairo club has put forward a final offer through Zizo’s father and agent, aiming to secure his signature on a new deal. According to Maghreb-Foot, Zamalek’s offer consists of an annual salary of 60 million Egyptian pounds, along with a lucrative signing bonus. Zizo had initially demanded 100 million pounds per year, but the club is hopeful that the revised offer will persuade him to stay.
The proposal is backed by financial support from businessmen close to the club and includes a 30 million-pound deposit upon signing. Zizo’s father is expected to relay the details to his son, who has been involved in five goals over 14 appearances this season.
With a market value of 4 million euros, Zizo’s future at Zamalek hangs in the balance, with other suitors lurking in the background.
