Zamalek SC continues its summer rebuild with the official signing of 22-year-old striker Ahmed Sherif from Pharco FC.
The deal, which sees the talented forward join the Royal Club for five seasons, marks the club’s fourth major move of the transfer window as they aim to bounce back strong next season.
Sherif’s contract was finalized after a meeting with Zamalek’s sporting director, John Edward, following successful talks between the club and Pharco officials. His arrival is expected to add energy and finishing power to Zamalek’s attacking line.
The club has been active this summer, already bringing in experienced goalkeeper Mahdi Soliman, who arrived on a free transfer from Al-Ittihad Alexandria. Angolan winger Chico Banza also joined on a four-year deal from Portuguese side Estrela da Amadora, while forward Amr Nasser made the switch from Pharco on a five-year contract.
Zamalek’s transfer activity signals a clear intent to return to winning ways and restore their dominance in domestic and continental competitions with a balanced mix of youth and experience.
