Zamalek head coach Mohamed Selim to lead Egypt Under-16 basketball team

The Egyptian Basketball Federation, led by Amr Moslihy, has announced the coaching staff for Egypt’s Under-16 national team.

Mohamed Selim “Soli”, who is head coach of Zamalek’s men’s first team, will take charge of the age-group side.

Selim will be assisted by Mohamed Ashraf Tawfik and Moamen Abou Elenin, while Ibrahim Abou Khadra has been appointed performance developer.

Selim became Zamalek’s head coach after the end of last season, replacing Wael Badr.

Before taking charge of Zamalek, he guided Telecom Egypt to the semi-finals of the Egyptian Basketball League last season.

He also led the team to the Egypt Cup final, where they were beaten by Zamalek.
