Zamalek handball player Bejad Marwan set for Slovenian move

Zamalek handball player Bejad Marwan will join Slovenian side RD Slovan (Kodeljevo) next season.

The move will take place after the 2025-26 season, when Marwan’s contract with Zamalek expires. The player received the offer some time ago, accepted it and will begin his professional career in Slovenia next season.

Marwan, the son of Marwan Ragab – a former Egypt national team coach – has previously played for Sporting and Zamalek. He operates as a line player.

Before making the move, Marwan will represent Zamalek at the Super Globe, the Handball World Club Championship.

Zamalek are preparing for a decisive match against Al Ahly on Thursday, when they will compete for the bronze medal in the tournament staged in Egypt.
