Zamalek faces potential exclusion from African competitions
During his radio broadcast on Sunday morning, Shobier stated, “I’m issuing a serious warning. A few days ago, FIFA announced that clubs with outstanding disputes with other clubs or players must resolve their issues by June 30.”
He elaborated, “These are international disputes, and this could pose a significant problem for Zamalek’s participation in African competitions.
I hope the officials at the Egyptian Football Association and Zamalek move quickly to address this, regardless of the current tensions with the football association.”
Shobier emphasized the urgency of the situation, noting, “Forget about the upcoming match against Al Ahly; what matters now is that we are in the last week of June, and we must act swiftly.
The problem is that leagues abroad finish their seasons earlier. I hope my message and perspective are clear to everyone.”
