Zamalek face National Bank as Al Ahly visit ZED in Egyptian Premier League round two
The second round of the Egyptian Premier League begins on Wednesday, with Zamalek taking on National Bank of Egypt and Al Ahly travelling to face ZED in the final match of the three-day schedule.
After an eventful opening round, the latest set of fixtures will be played across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The programme starts at Borg El Arab Stadium, where Smouha meet Petrojet, and concludes at Cairo Stadium with ZED’s home fixture against Al Ahly.
All 10 matches will be broadcast live on the On Sport network, with different channels and commentators assigned to each game.
Wednesday’s matches
Smouha and Petrojet get the round under way at 17:00 local time at Borg El Arab Stadium. The match will be shown on On Sport Plus, with Tarek El-Adwar on commentary.
Later that evening, National Bank of Egypt host Zamalek at Cairo Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 20:00, with the game available on On Sport and Mohamed El-Shazly providing commentary.
The third fixture on Wednesday is the meeting between Montakhab El Suez Petrojet and Tala’ea El Gaish at Suez Stadium, also at 20:00. On Sport Max will broadcast the match, which will be commentated on by Hisham Moammar.
Thursday’s matches
Thursday’s action starts at 17:00 when Modern Sport play Ghazl El Mahalla at Cairo Stadium. The fixture will be carried by On Sport Plus, with Mohamed El-Kawaliny as commentator.
There are two further matches at 20:00. Al Mokawloon Al Arab face Al Masry at Suez Stadium, where the coverage will be provided by On Sport and Bilal Allam.
At Air Defence Stadium, Pyramids take on Abu Qir Fertilizers. The match will be broadcast on On Sport Max, with Moamen Hassan on commentary.
Friday’s matches
Friday’s schedule begins with the 17:00 meeting between Al Sharqia ENPPI and Wadi Degla at Al Salam Stadium. The game will be shown on On Sport Max, with Ziad El-Dakroury commentating.
At the same time, Canal play El Gouna at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium. That fixture will be broadcast on On Sport Plus, with Mohamed El-Ghayaty behind the microphone.
The final two matches of the round both begin at 20:00.
Al Ittihad Alexandria host Ceramica Cleopatra at Alexandria Stadium, with On Sport Max carrying the game and Mohamed Mostafa Afifi providing commentary.
The round then ends at Cairo Stadium, where ZED welcome Al Ahly. The match will be shown on On Sport, with Ayman El-Kashef as commentator.
