Zamalek denies interest in signing Al-Ahly’s Percy Tau

Ahmed Suleiman, a member of Zamalek SC’s board of directors, has dismissed reports suggesting the club’s interest in signing Percy Tau, the South African forward currently playing for Al-Ahly.

In televised remarks, Suleiman clarified that Percy Tau has not been offered to Zamalek, rejecting rumors linking the player with a potential move.

The claims about Percy Tau joining Zamalek are entirely false.

He is not in the club’s plans, and any player signings are strictly based on the recommendations of our head coach, Jose Gomez,” Suleiman stated.

Tau, whose contract with Al-Ahly expires at the end of the current season, will be eligible to sign with other clubs during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Speculation surrounding his departure has intensified, with many wondering where the talented forward will play next.

Meanwhile, Zamalek is focused on preparations for their upcoming Nile Professional League clash against Ghazl El Mahalla, scheduled to take place at the Ghazl El Mahalla Stadium on Monday.
