Zamalek coach Moataz Gamal has revealed the squad for a closed training camp in Ismailia as the team gears up for crucial fixtures in both the Egyptian Premier League and the CAF Confederation Cup.
The White Knights face Smouha tonight in a rescheduled match from the 14th round of the league, before hosting South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs next Saturday at 6 pm in the final group stage game of the Confederation Cup.
The squad for the camp is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Mohamed Sobhi, Mahdi Suleiman, Mahmoud El Shenawy, Mohamed Abdel Fattah.
Defenders: Omar Gaber, Mahmoud Hamdi “El Wensh”, Hossam Abdel Meguid, Mohamed Ismail, Mahmoud Bentayj, Ahmed Fatouh, El Sayed Osama, Mohamed Ibrahim, Ahmed Khodary.
Midfielders: Ahmed Rabie, Mohamed Shehata, Mohamed El Sayed, Ahmed Abdel Rahim “Esho”, Youssef Wael “Fransi”, Mohamed Hamad, Abdallah El Said, Ahmed Hamdi, Juan Bezerra, Chico Panza, Ahmed Sherif.
Forwards: Nasser Mansi, Saif Al-Jaziri, Uday Al-Dabbagh, Ayman Amir Abdel Aziz.
Zamalek will aim to maintain their domestic league form while seeking a strong finish in their Confederation Cup group.
