Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek are close to parting ways with Portuguese gaffer Jose Peseiro following the club’s unimpressive performance this campaign.
Zamalek have underperformed recently in the Egyptian top-flight this season, sparking concerns about the capabilities of the trainer.
However, the leadership of the Egyptian giants who appears not to be impressed with the performance of Peseiro have reportedly decided to get rid of the 64-year-old tactician.
Zamalek are expected to part ways with the former Nigeria trainer in an attempt to salvage their campaign, having failed to defend the CAF Confederation Cup title this season.
The Egyptian giants has already lined up replacement for the Portuguese tactician. Zamalek are currently eyeing Momen Soliman of Iraqi police and Abdul Hamid Bassiouni, who is the former trainer of Army Vanguard.
