Zamalek captain Omar Gaber undergoes treatment ahead of Smouha clash

Zamalek captain Omar Gaber received a treatment session on the sidelines of the team’s Sunday training camp, held at the hotel pitch in Borg El Arab, as preparations intensify for their upcoming Egyptian Premier League fixture against Smouha.

Gaber is currently recovering from an adductor muscle injury, which ruled him out of Zamalek’s recent derby against Al Ahly.

The club’s medical team is working to ensure the defender returns to full fitness in time to rejoin training in the coming days.

The Whites have been holding a closed training camp in Borg El Arab as they step up preparations for the crucial league encounter.

Zamalek are set to face Smouha at 8:00 pm next Tuesday at the Army Stadium in Borg El Arab, in Matchday Six of the championship round of the Egyptian Premier League.

At the top of the standings, Zamalek lead the table with 50 points, while Smouha sit seventh with 31 points.
