Italian-Moroccan midfielder Zakaria Sdaigui has joined Figline on a free transfer from Antella, adding a 25-year-old central midfielder to the club’s squad. He has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027.

Sdaigui’s move to Figline was completed on 2 August 2026, following his spell with Antella. The Florence-born midfielder, who stands 1.86m tall and prefers his right foot, now begins the latest chapter of a career that has taken him through clubs in Italy, Latvia and Morocco.

Before moving to Figline, Sdaigui joined Antella from Latvian side Grobina in November 2025, also on a free transfer. His time with Grobina followed a move from Campobasso in July 2024, with the Italian club having brought him in after a period without a club.

Sdaigui helped Campobasso win the Scudetto Serie D in 2024. Earlier in his career, he spent time with Roma, Monterosi and JS Soualem, while also coming through youth football with Roma, Bologna and AS Rom.

His recorded career includes 31 appearances in Latvia’s Virsliga, where he scored four goals and provided two assists. He also made 38 appearances in Primavera 1, scoring 11 goals and registering two assists, while contributing a goal and an assist in the UEFA Youth League.

The midfielder has also played in Serie C and Serie D, as well as domestic cup competitions in Italy and Latvia. His career statistics include appearances for AS Gubbio, Monterosi and Campobasso, alongside his development through Roma’s youth system.

Sdaigui’s international background reflects his Italian birthplace and Moroccan heritage. He was born in Firenze on 9 August 2000 and holds Italian and Moroccan nationality.

Figline have secured the midfielder without a transfer fee, and the deal keeps him at the club through the end of June 2027.
