Royal Army Club reasserted their dominance in the league, reclaiming the top spot after a resounding 3-0 victory over Union Touarga on Sunday evening.
The match, part of the 21st round of the Moroccan Professional League, unfolded at the Municipal Stadium in Kenitra.
It was the substitute Amin Zahzouh who stole the spotlight, notching a remarkable hat-trick against Union Touarga, with goals in the 63rd, 69th, and 76th minutes.
Zahzouh’s stellar performance propelled “The Soldiers” back to the league summit with a tally of 46 points, albeit with one match in hand, solidifying their position at the top of the provisional standings.
Meanwhile, Union Touarga’s defeat against the Royal Army Club leaves them stagnant with 26 points, currently occupying the eighth position in the league standings.
