Zabbar SP sign Ivory Coast midfielder Pah Franck Gouhon on loan
Pah Franck Gouhon, the 19-year-old Ivory Coast midfielder, has joined Zabbar SP from Goztepe U19 on loan.
The central midfielder switches from Turkey’s U19 Super Lig to Zabbar’s Premier League Opening Round campaign, with the loan running until 30 June 2027. No fee has been disclosed for the move.
Gouhon’s arrival gives Zabbar an Ivorian option in midfield after he spent the early part of the 2026-27 season with Goztepe’s under-19 side. He had not made an appearance before leaving the Turkish club.
The 1.86m player was born in Abobo, Abidjan, and is listed as a right-footed central midfielder. He joined Goztepe U19 on a free transfer in February 2026, having previously been without a club.
His move to Zabbar comes less than seven months after that switch and represents his first recorded transfer away from Goztepe. The agreement includes a return to the Turkish club at the end of the loan on 30 June 2027.
Gouhon has yet to register a senior appearance in the available competition record, with his listed playing record covering the U19 Super Lig. He now joins a Zabbar side competing in Malta’s Premier League Opening Round.
The transfer also gives the teenager an opportunity to continue his football in a different domestic competition while remaining contracted to Goztepe beyond the current loan spell. His arrival has been recorded as a completed loan move dated 20 August 2026.
Gouhon will remain with Zabbar SP until the end of June 2027, when his loan is scheduled to conclude and he is due to return to Goztepe U19.
