Yves Bissouma: Fulham linked with move for free agent Mali midfielder

Mali international Yves Bissouma, currently without a club after leaving Tottenham Hotspur, is being linked with a move to Fulham as the Premier League side explore midfield options this summer.

The 29-year-old defensive midfielder, who was born in Issia and also holds Ivorian nationality, became a free agent on 1 July 2026 following his departure from Spurs, with his current market value listed at €10m. Fulham are understood to be assessing the possibility of bringing him in without a transfer fee as they look to add top-flight experience to their squad.

Bissouma brings significant Premier League pedigree, having made 202 appearances in the division across his spells with Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham, after initially breaking through in Ligue 1 with Lille. He joined Spurs from Brighton in July 2022 for a fee of €29.2m, at a time when his valuation peaked at €35m.

During his time in north London he collected major silverware, winning the Europa League with Tottenham in the 2024-25 season. His experience in European competition also includes outings in both the Champions League and Europa League.

Fulham’s interest comes at a point in the window where established free agents are attracting attention, and Bissouma’s blend of Premier League and continental experience makes him one of the most notable names currently unattached. For now, the midfielder remains a free agent and is able to negotiate directly with interested clubs.
