Yunus Musah’s future remains in Milan after the club reportedly rejected a transfer bid from Napoli for the 22-year-old midfielder.
As reported by Football Italia, Napoli submitted an offer worth around €23 million plus bonuses, hoping to lure the American-Ghanaian to Naples. But Milan turned it down, signaling their intent to keep Musah for now.
The decision ends speculation that the deal was nearing completion. Musah, who is under contract with Milan until 2028, is seen as part of the club’s long-term plans. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic now acting as a sporting adviser, the club appears determined to hold onto key players unless an exceptional offer comes through.
Milan’s stance is firm, they want more money to even consider letting the midfielder go.
Musah made 29 Serie A appearances last season, providing two assists. Despite his contributions, Milan finished a disappointing eighth, a result seen as a failure by many fans and pundits.
The rejected bid could push Napoli to either raise their offer or shift their focus elsewhere as the summer window unfolds.
