Yunus Musah took center stage in AC Milan’s post-match press conference following their thrilling Italian Super Cup semi-final victory over Juventus.
Reflecting on the match, Musah credited the team’s resilience and adjustments under new coach Sérgio Conceição.
“We didn’t have a good first half,” Musah admitted. “That’s what he told us during the break—calmly, of course.” The midfielder’s impactful performance after coming on proved pivotal, as Milan turned the tide against their rivals.
Speaking about the team’s evolution, Musah acknowledged the challenges of adapting to a new coach mid-season. “We changed coach a few days ago, and there are many things to work on, but we’re making progress,” he said.
Milan’s determination, according to Musah, was the deciding factor. “We gave it our all until the end. Our determination and desire helped us put Juve in difficulty and secure the win.”
As Milan prepares to face Inter in the final, Musah’s confidence remains unshaken. When asked if Milan can repeat their earlier triumph over their city rivals, his response was unequivocal: “Yes.”
The stage is set for an electrifying derby.
