AC Milan’s midfield could look different soon with Yunus Musah and Samuel Chukwueze at the centre of possible exits.
The club’s sporting director Igli Tare suggested change is on the horizon as Milan continue to shape their squad before the new season.
“They could leave. It’s a possibility. We are evaluating the best solution for us,” Tare said in a press conference before Milan’s Serie A opener against Cremonese on August 23, 2025.
Musah, the 22-year-old American who played 30 games last season, has become a key presence with his tireless energy in midfield. Chukwueze, the Nigerian winger known for his speed, scored three goals in 24 matches and remains a fan favourite for his flair and drive.
Both are under contract until June 2028, yet Milan’s need for squad balance has drawn Premier League and Bundesliga interest.
Behind the scenes, the club are carefully weighing offers and exploring options. For supporters, the thought of losing two young talents stirs mixed feelings, highlighting the tough choices needed at a club chasing success.
