Youssoupha Sanyang: Gambian-Senegalese winger joins Artis Brno from Slavia Prague on loan

Youssoupha Sanyang has joined Czech club Artis Brno from Slavia Prague on loan, completing a move that keeps the 21-year-old winger in the Chance Liga.

The transfer was completed on 8 September, with Sanyang switching between two clubs competing in the Czech Republic’s top division. He leaves Slavia Prague for Artis Brno after establishing his position as a left winger.

Sanyang is listed as holding Gambian and Senegalese nationality. His move gives Artis Brno a player with experience of being part of Slavia Prague’s squad, while allowing the winger to continue his career elsewhere in the same league.

The deal is structured as a loan transfer. No transfer fee has been stated for the move, and there is no indication that the agreement includes a permanent transfer clause or an obligation for Artis Brno to sign Sanyang at the end of the loan.

At 21, Sanyang remains at an early stage of his senior career. His preferred position on the left wing provides a clear description of the role he will take to his new club, where he joins Artis Brno for the next phase of his development in Czech football.

The move also represents a direct change of club rather than a move to a different country or competition. Sanyang remains in the Chance Liga after leaving Slavia Prague, meaning his transition to Artis Brno will take place within a familiar domestic setting.

Sanyang’s listed market value is €2.7m, although that figure is separate from the terms of the completed loan agreement. The transfer gives Artis Brno access to the young winger while his registration remains connected to Slavia Prague.

The Gambian-Senegalese player is now an Artis Brno player on loan from Slavia Prague, with the completed transfer dated 8 September 2026.
