Youssef Gaidi makes RCA Zemamra switch as Morocco defender leaves Wydad Fes

Morocco centre-back Youssef Gaidi has joined RCA Zemamra from Wydad Fes on a free transfer.

The 21-year-old defender completed the move on 12 August 2026, becoming a new addition to the Botola Pro Inwi club. Gaidi’s arrival marks his latest change of club after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season with Wydad Fes.

Gaidi moved to Wydad Fes from RCA Reserve on 31 January 2026, also on a free transfer. Before that switch, he had spent part of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Qods Taza, returning to RCA Reserve at the end of the temporary spell on 30 June 2025.

The defender began that season with RCA Reserve after progressing from Raja Casablanca’s under-19 side. He joined the reserve team in July 2024, having previously been with Raja Cas. U19 since July 2021.

Gaidi’s early football development began at AM Football, from where he moved to Raja Cas. U19 as a free transfer in 2021. He has since built his senior career through a series of moves within Moroccan football, including the loan spell at Qods Taza and his subsequent spell with Wydad Fes.

Born in Inezgane, Gaidi is listed as a centre-back and represents Morocco at club level. His move to RCA Zemamra keeps him in the Moroccan top-flight structure with a club competing in the Botola Pro Inwi.

The transfer was completed on 12 August, with Gaidi joining RCA Zemamra from Wydad Fes without a fee.
