Spain-born attacker of Guinea-Bissau descent, Ansu Fati, has been linked with a potential move to German Bundesliga outfit, Borussia Dortmund.
As reported by Africasoccer, Fati is ready to end his stay at FC Barcelona and has decided to leave the club at the end of the 2024/25 football season.
Ansu Fati, who still has two years remaining on his contract, has endured a tough spell at the Catalan club following a significant dip in form. Once heralded as Barcelona’s next big star, the young forward has struggled to recapture his spark, leaving the club seemingly ready to move on.
Despite still wearing the iconic number 10 shirt, Fati has managed only nine appearances this season and is yet to find the back of the net since 2023.
If Fati leave Barcelona, it will be a win not just for the player but the Spanish club as well.
Checks have revealed that Dortmund could swoop in to sign Ansu Fati as a replacement for youngster Jamie Gittens, who has also been linked with a move to Chelsea.
Meanwhile, clubs from Spain, Turkey, Portugal, and Saudi Arabia are believed to be monitoring Ansu Fati’s situation.
