“BSC Young Boys is very pleased to have managed to recruit 19-year-old striker Facinet Conté for the upcoming season.
The 175cm Guinean national player comes from French second division club SC Bastia and has signed a five-year contract with YB until the summer of 2029,” the club announced in an official statement.
Conté’s move to Young Boys comes after a standout season in Ligue 2, where he played 21 matches, scored six goals, and provided three assists, significantly contributing to SC Bastia’s successful fight to avoid relegation.
Joining Young Boys, Conté will reunite with his compatriot Mohamed Aly Camara, who serves as the captain of the Swiss club. This familiar face will likely help Conté settle into his new environment.
