Johan Hajem, the left-back for the Moroccan national team, has celebrated his first career title after his club, Young Boys, clinched the Swiss Super League championship.
This significant achievement came following Young Boys’ 1-0 victory over Servette FC in the 37th round of the league on Monday.
Despite Hajem’s absence from the match due to suspension, his team secured the win, extending their lead to 74 points, a comfortable nine points ahead of second-placed FC Lugano, who have 65 points.
Hajem, who transferred to Young Boys during the winter transfer window from French side FC Nantes, has made a notable impact since his arrival.
He has featured in 14 matches for the Swiss champions and found the net once, showcasing his versatility and contribution to the team’s defensive and offensive plays.
This title not only marks a personal milestone for Hajem but also ensures Young Boys’ participation in the UEFA Champions League next season
