Younes Taha: Frosinone eye move for Dutch-Moroccan FC Twente winger

Younes Taha, the Morocco-Netherlands winger currently at FC Twente, is being linked with a move to Serie A side Frosinone as the Italian club look to strengthen their attack ahead of the new season.

The 23-year-old right winger, who prefers to operate on the right and cut in on his left foot, is under contract with Twente until 30 June 2027 but is attracting interest after establishing himself in the Eredivisie. Frosinone are monitoring a potential deal, with Taha’s current valuation understood to be around €4m.

Born in Amsterdam and eligible for both Morocco and the Netherlands, Taha has built his reputation in Dutch football, featuring regularly in the Eredivisie and contributing goals and assists from wide areas. His performances in the Dutch top flight have come after an impressive spell in the second tier, where he delivered double figures in goals over one season.

Taha joined Twente from PEC Zwolle in July 2023 for a reported €1.2m fee and spent part of his time in Enschede on loan at FC Groningen before returning this summer. His development has also been recognised on the international stage, having been part of the Morocco Under-23 side that won the Africa Cup of Nations at that age group in 2023.

With Twente protected by a contract running for another year after the coming season, any negotiations with Frosinone are likely to focus on how close an offer comes to the winger’s current market valuation rather than on the risk of losing him for free.
