Younes Ebnoutalib is being linked with a move from SV Elversberg to Eintracht Frankfurt, with the prospective transfer currently rated at a 48% probability, according to data compiled on 22 December 2025.
The 22-year-old centre-forward, who represents both German and Moroccan nationality, is attracting interest after a remarkable rise in his market valuation, which now stands at €6.00m. Figures from Transfermarkt show his value at Elversberg climbing sharply from €150,000 in June 2025 to €1.5m in October and then to its current €6.00m in mid-December, underlining why a step up to the Bundesliga is being discussed.
Ebnoutalib is contracted to 2. Bundesliga side SV Elversberg, but with no publicly listed contract expiry in the data, the prospect of him becoming a free agent at some stage in the near future cannot be ruled out, adding another layer of intrigue around any potential deal with Frankfurt.
Born in Frankfurt am Main on 13 September 2003 and standing at 1.91m, the right-footed striker would represent both a homecoming and a stylistic fit for Frankfurt, who have often sought physically imposing forwards capable of linking play and operating as a central attacking focal point.
His path to Elversberg has been unconventional. After youth spells at FC Kalbach and SV Heddernheim, he progressed through several Frankfurt-based age-group sides, including SG Red-White Frankfurt, before moving to SV Wehen Wiesbaden’s under-17s. A switch to Italy followed, joining Perugia’s Primavera side and later AC Perugia’s first team, before a stint as a free agent and a move back to Germany with FC Gießen paved the way to Elversberg.
With his reputation and market value accelerating, a transfer to Frankfurt would mark a significant next step, and if the move materialises, it could shape Ebnoutalib’s trajectory from promising 2. Bundesliga forward into a regular presence at the top level of German football.
