Younes Ebnoutalib is being linked with a move from 2. Bundesliga side SV Elversberg to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, with the probability of a deal currently rated at 47%.

The 22-year-old centre-forward, valued at €1.50m, is the subject of mounting speculation in Germany, with reports suggesting Frankfurt are monitoring his rapid rise in Elversberg colours. No agreement between the clubs has been reported and the move remains at rumour stage, but the level of interest has pushed the striker firmly into the national spotlight.

Ebnoutalib only joined Elversberg after a brief spell with FC Gießen, yet his trajectory over the past two seasons has been striking. His market value has climbed sharply from €150,000 in early 2025 to €1.50m by October, underlining how quickly his performances have altered perceptions of his potential. There is no public information on the length of his current deal, leaving room for speculation that Elversberg could be vulnerable if a substantial offer arrives – or that the player could manoeuvre towards free‑agent status in future if terms are not clarified.

Born in Frankfurt am Main on 13 September 2003 and standing at 1.91m, Ebnoutalib offers a physical focal point in attack and is comfortable leading the line as a traditional centre-forward. Eligible for both Germany and Morocco, he has taken a circuitous route through youth football, moving from local sides FC Kalbach and SV Heddernheim through the SG Rot-Weiss Frankfurt system, then SV Wehen Wiesbaden’s academy, before a switch to Italy with Perugia’s Primavera and senior side AC Perugia, and eventually returning to Germany via a short period without a club.

His journey from free agent in early 2024 to one of the 2. Bundesliga’s more talked-about forwards highlights why Frankfurt may see him as a relatively low-cost, high-upside addition. If the move does materialise, it could mark a return to his home city and a decisive step from promising second-tier striker to fully established Bundesliga forward.
