Real Betis are being linked with a move for SV Elversberg centre-forward Younes Ebnoutalib, with the 22-year-old reportedly on the Spanish club’s radar after a sharp rise in his market value to €1.50m.

The La Liga side are rumoured to be assessing the Germany- and Morocco-eligible striker as a potential attacking option, with the move speculated on transfer databases but without any clear indication of how advanced talks might be, or a firm probability attached to the deal. There is no suggestion so far that personal terms or a transfer fee have been agreed, and neither club has confirmed negotiations.

Ebnoutalib is currently contracted to 2. Bundesliga outfit SV Elversberg, who signed him from FC Gießen. While there is no public information in the data about the length of his deal or any release clauses, his rapid increase in valuation at Elversberg – from €150,000 in early 2025 to €1.50m by October the same year – is likely to make him a more expensive target than in previous windows and could influence whether Betis pursue a permanent transfer or wait to see if he approaches free-agent status in future.

Born in Frankfurt am Main on 13 September 2003 and standing at 1.91m, Ebnoutalib fits the profile of a modern, physically imposing centre-forward. Having progressed through several German youth systems – including SG Red-White Frankfurt, SV Wehen Wiesbaden and SV Heddernheim – he later moved to Italy with Perugia’s youth set-up before stepping up to AC Perugia’s senior side, then briefly becoming a free agent and joining Gießen.

Capable of leading the line with his right foot and still early in his professional career, a switch from the German second tier to La Liga would represent a significant step up in level. If the interest from Betis solidifies into a concrete offer, the move could prove pivotal in shaping Ebnoutalib’s reputation and long-term trajectory in European football.
