Eintracht Frankfurt are being linked with a move for SV Elversberg striker Younes Ebnoutalib, with the 22-year-old’s future attracting growing speculation in Germany.

Data from transfer specialists lists a 46% probability that the centre-forward could swap 2. Bundesliga side Elversberg for the Bundesliga club, though no agreement between the teams has been reported and the move remains at rumour stage. The suggested deal would see Frankfurt move for a player currently valued at €1.50m, a relatively modest fee in the top flight for a developing attacker.

Ebnoutalib, who represents both Germany and Morocco at nationality level, has risen sharply in prominence over the past year. His market value has climbed from €150,000 at Elversberg in early 2025 to €1.50m by October, reflecting his progress in the 2. Bundesliga. There is no public information on the length or terms of his current contract, leaving open the possibility that his situation could evolve towards a free-agency scenario in future, further fuelling transfer talk.

Born in Frankfurt am Main on 13 September 2003 and standing at 1.91m, the right-footed centre-forward came through youth systems in Germany before moving abroad. Early spells with SG Red-White Frankfurt’s youth sides and SV Wehen Wiesbaden’s U17s were followed by a switch to Italy with Perugia Primavera and then AC Perugia. He later became a free agent, joining FC Gießen in July 2024 before securing his move to Elversberg ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

Having gone from being listed without a club to a multi-million-euro valuation in under two years, Ebnoutalib is viewed as a late-emerging prospect rather than a conventional academy star. A transfer to Frankfurt, if it materialises, could return him to his home city and offer a first sustained opportunity in the Bundesliga, a step that may prove decisive in shaping both his reputation and long-term career trajectory.
