Yoram Zague joins Pafos on loan from Paris Saint-Germain

French-Ivorian right-back Yoram Zague has joined Pafos from Paris Saint-Germain on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old has moved to the Cypriot club for the 2026-27 campaign, with the agreement running until 30 June 2027. Zague’s contract with PSG extends until 31 May 2027.

Zague arrives at Pafos after spending the opening part of the season with Paris SG U23. He made the move to PSG’s reserve side from the senior squad on 1 July 2026, having returned to the French champions following a loan spell at Belgian club KAS Eupen.

The defender spent the second half of the 2025-26 season at Eupen, where he made eight appearances in the Challenger Pro League, scoring twice and providing one assist. Before that, he played in Denmark with Copenhagen, recording seven appearances and two goals in the Superliga during a loan spell that lasted from July 2025 to January 2026.

Zague came through PSG’s youth system after joining from Paris FC’s academy in 2019. He progressed through the club’s under-17 and under-19 teams before moving into senior football, making nine Ligue 1 appearances and scoring once.

He was also involved in PSG’s 2024-25 Champions League-winning campaign, appearing in five Champions League matches and registering one assist. That season brought a series of honours for the Paris-born full-back, including the Champions League, Ligue 1, Coupe de France and French Super Cup. He also helped PSG Under-19 win the French U19 title in both 2023-24 and 2024-25.

Zague has recorded 40 appearances, seven goals and 10 assists in National U19 Group A football, alongside appearances in the UEFA Youth League and domestic cup competitions. He is a right-footed defender who stands 1.68m tall.

At international level, the player is eligible to represent France and Cote d’Ivoire through his dual nationality. His move to Pafos adds another overseas chapter to a career that has already included loan spells in Denmark and Belgium.

Zague has now completed his loan move from Paris Saint-Germain to Pafos, where he will remain until 30 June 2027.
