Yohann Thuram, the Guadeloupean goalkeeper, who was previously linked with a move to Standard Liège, might end up staying in Ligue 1. According to L’Equipe, AS Saint-Etienne is considering Thuram as a potential option in case Stéphane Ruffier departs. Ruffier has been targeted by AS Roma, and an agreement between the player and the Italian club is reported to be in place. If Ruffier’s transfer materializes, Saint-Etienne could turn to Yohann Thuram-Ulien as a replacement. Thuram, 24 years old, made 38 appearances in Ligue 1 during the 2012-2013 season with Troyes.
