Laurent Blanc, the coach of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has expressed interest in recruiting Yohan Cabaye, the French international midfielder currently playing for Newcastle United. According to reports, the transfer price for Cabaye has been set at £22 million (approximately €26 million) by Newcastle. However, Cabaye has denied any imminent move to PSG, stating that he remains a Newcastle player until proven otherwise.
Alan Pardew, the coach of Newcastle, also refuted the reports, emphasizing that Cabaye is a crucial player for the team and they have no intention of selling him. Despite the denials, rumors continue to circulate, with Arsenal also reportedly expressing interest in Cabaye.
Laurent Blanc, while acknowledging the excitement around potential transfers, mentioned that PSG is not planning major changes to the squad. He expressed satisfaction with the current team but hinted at possible movements depending on departures.
