Yassine El Ghanassy Set to Return to La Gantoise After Loan Spell at Al Ain
Yassine El Ghanassy, the Belgian midfielder of Moroccan descent, will be returning to La Gantoise after a brief loan spell with Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates. The 25-year-old, who was struggling for playing time at La Gantoise, moved to Al Ain in December to seek more opportunities. However, the Persian Gulf League club has decided not to exercise their option to buy the player, leaving El Ghanassy set for a return to Belgium.
Despite spending the second half of the season in the UAE, El Ghanassy reportedly failed to convince Al Ain’s management of his value, and the club has opted against making the move permanent. As a result, the midfielder will now be placed on the transfer list by La Gantoise.
El Ghanassy, known for his technical ability and flair on the ball, will look to secure a move to a new club as he seeks to regain his form and playing time. With his future uncertain, the Belgian midfielder will be hoping for a fresh start in the coming months.
