Bounou wins award in Saudi Pro League

Moroccan international goalkeeper Yassine Bounou has been named the winner of the Best Save award for Round 32 of the Saudi Professional League following his outstanding performance for Al Hilal SFC.

The Moroccan shot stopper earned the recognition after producing a brilliant save to deny Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in a fiercely contested encounter that ended in a draw.

Bounou Beats Strong Competition

Bounou secured the round’s top individual goalkeeping honour ahead of experienced rivals, including Marcelo Grohe of Al Shabab FC and Marcin Bułka of Neom SC.

The spectacular stop against Ronaldo once again highlighted Bounou’s sharp reflexes and composure under pressure, qualities that have made him one of the standout goalkeepers in the league this season.

Outstanding Numbers For Al-Hilal

Bounou’s performances throughout the campaign have underlined his importance to Al-Hilal’s defensive setup.

Across 34 appearances this season, the Moroccan goalkeeper has displayed remarkable consistency and leadership at the back. Despite the demanding nature of the Saudi top flight, he has conceded only 31 goals while maintaining exceptional standards between the posts.

Even more impressive has been his clean sheet record. The former Sevilla goalkeeper has kept 21 clean sheets this season, further cementing his reputation as one of the most reliable goalkeepers in world football.

Morocco Boost Ahead Of International Fixtures

Bounou’s recent form will come as encouraging news for the Moroccan national team ahead of upcoming international assignments.

The experienced goalkeeper continues to show top-level form for both club and country, with his latest award serving as further proof of his quality and influence on the pitch.
